Austin Hill and Richard Childress Racing captured their 4th win of the 2023 NXS season on Saturday afternoon at Pocono Raceway.

Hill took the lead off Turn 1 on the final restart after Josh Berry would miss the corner, then wreck off Turn 2, but the caution wasn’t thrown for Berry. The Caution was for Ryan Sieg spinning off Turn 2. There was also debris from Justin Allgaier’s car on the frontstretch, but NASCAR didn’t throw a caution for it.

Cautions:

1st Caution: On a restart, the outside lane would stack up and John Hunter Nemechek would get into Cole Custer and both would wreck on the frontstretch.

2nd Caution: Justin Allgaier would get into the back of Joey Gase and Gase would go around bringing out the caution.

3rd Caution: Connor Mosack would hit the wall off Turn 2 and bring out the caution. He would finish 34th with a DNF.

4th Caution: Josh Berry and Ryan Sieg would both wreck in Turn 2. Berry had a cut tire and hit the wall and Sieg spun off the corner.

Prediction Results:

Winner Prediction: John Hunter Nemechek

Winner Prediction finish: 32nd.

Nemechek was involved in a wreck as mentioned above and couldn’t capitalize from it as the car was too damaged.

1st – 7 Allgaier
2nd – 20 Nemechek
3rd – 8 Berry
4th – 98 Herbst
5th – 21 Hill
6th – 00 Custer
7th – 19 Mosack
8th – 1 Mayer
9th – 18 Smith
10th – 10 Suarez

Top 10 Results correct: 4th and 10th.
